AMC that is ‘Asset Management Company’
An asset management company (AMC) is a money manager or money management company that invests collected funds from investors in stocks, bonds, govt. securities, real estate etc. AMC also called fund house, provides Investment offers to small investors in various categories called mutual funds. The investors are provided units in proportion to their investments. In an AMC the fund manager takes decisions for Investment and generates gain or income. The gain or income is distributed to investors in proportion to their units after deducting management expenses.
